What is a character NFT? A plain-English guide to LLC
THE QUICK ANSWER
What does an LLC character NFT represent?
An LLC character NFT is a digital collectible recorded on Solana and associated with character artwork and submitted creator information. A wallet can hold the token. Copyright, commercial permission and account ownership are separate questions; the token alone does not establish those rights.
Separate the picture, token and permission
Think about three different things: the artwork you can see, the token recorded on a blockchain and the permission to use the underlying character. A Solana wallet can display NFTs, but displaying or holding a token does not tell you every term that applies to the artwork.
The joint U.S. Copyright Office and USPTO study highlights confusion about intellectual-property rights in NFT transactions. For a beginner, the practical step is to read the stated licence instead of assuming that the token transfers every creative right.

What happens in the LLC Studio?
The Studio starts with your own character material. You provide a character sheet, name, public Instagram link, short description and creation information. You review an LLC-styled character card before any available minting step.
The default branded artwork mode uses the supplied portrait in an LLC composition. It is not a Higgsfield video generator. The studio’s optional AI artwork mode, when available, has a separate consent step. Choose the workflow that matches what you want to make.
The displayed service fee is 0.2 SOL, with additional network and account costs shown before approval. Availability depends on the current service and network configuration. If the website shows test mode, devnet assets are test assets; the existence of a preview does not mean a production mint is available.
Read the creator record as a record
The creator information records what was submitted. A public profile link gives context, and a wallet signature authorises a request from that wallet. Neither is independent verification of authorship or control of an Instagram account.
Keep the source artwork and relevant permissions in your own working records. Do not upload private identity documents, passwords or recovery phrases. The public collectible should contain information intended to be public.
Before opening the form
You can learn the basics and download the free Creator Kit without a wallet. Minting is a separate choice for adults aged 18 and over. Start with the character itself if the idea or artwork is still changing.
- Prepare a clear character reference you have permission to use.
- Choose the exact character name and a short description.
- Check the public profile link for spelling mistakes.
- Read the licence and rights declaration.
- Check the network, availability and full costs before any transaction.
Common questions
Does an NFT automatically give me copyright?
No. The NFT and any licence or transfer of intellectual-property rights are separate. Read the explicit terms for the particular work.
Do I need an NFT to read the guides or download the kit?
No. The beginner blog and complimentary Creator Kit are public resources. Verified LLC NFT ownership is required for the holder club and posting on LLC Gigs.
